Did you get some new tyres in the end and if so what size?
I bought some aftermarket 17" wheels and tyres for just over £600 the other day and decided on 215/45-17 tyres after doing some research on volvospeed.com. My reasoning was to provide better protection from curbing and slightly better ride comfort over the standard 205/45-15 tyres which are the stock size. I was worried incase the tyres rubbed as my car is also lowered but luckily it doesnt, even on full lock. The margin is that tight on lock that on another car it may just rub. Sorry to hear about your current problems. I think we all get ripped off once in a while and it hurts. Make sure you give your mate who recommended the firm to you a good slap. Did they refurb his wheels and paint both sides? Simon |
