Default Noisy on tickover (S60)

Hi all..

I'm wondering if anyone can offer any ideas.

The other morning the the car was very noisy on tickover,, a small amount of revs removed the noise.

I looked under the bonnet and at tick over the engine is vibrating a lot,,,when you rev the engine this vibration stops and so does the noise.

The top engine mount looks ok but i'd imagine this should be able to stop most movement in the engine, which if thats the case it is not.

I'm going to change the mount anyway and check all the others but is there something that anyone else has come across that it could be?

Regards all.

Scot

Mine got noticeably quieter after a recent oil change. To be honest and in my opinion the engine is not as refined as some other manufacturers, like the HDi Peugeots. My mounts are fine no loose engine cover so it may be you just have to live with it.
