Default Down to 2 codes on ECC can anyone shed light?

Hello

Have spent the last couple of days making code readers and trying to work out why my heater doesn't work.

I have finally boiled down to 2 re-occurring codes, can anyone help with the process to repair this system.

ECC code 2-3-1 Ventilation damper motor position sensor open circuit or shorted to 12v.

ECC code 2-3-3 Floor/defrost damper motor position sensor open circuit or shorted to 12v.

Both codes the same from both motors that control the flaps, what is going on?
Matt

Fixed!!

Not entirely sure how but I put everything back together thinking I'd never repair it.....and it works now.

I could not have done this without the help and information on this site.
Thank you.
Matthew

Yes, the first few goes were useless. I needed to put the long + stalk of the 12v in the 16 pin hole and then the other two wires allowed me to read the codes. Pin 4 and 5 are both grounds and you need one of these get the codes out.
