Thanks for the info. IIRC All 300s with 2 litre engines were badged as 360s. Didn't know about the diesels though. I don't believe they were on sale in the UK.

If we wanna get really anal about this, I believe you could buy a 345 2.0 for one year before the introduction of the 360...although this might not be true in the UK. The Diesel was a total dog. Stupidly slow, and not very economical - was the best thing they ever did with the 300 series - not selling the diesel here - would have made its image problems even worse!
If only they'd sold a 360 Turbo Intercooler (to pinch the equivalent 740 badge), history would look upon the 300 series very differently....If I ever fit a 360 with B230ET, it's getting a factory-look '360 Turbo Intercooler' badge for the back...in fact I already have the parts, as a hybrid of a 360 GLT and a 740 Turbo Intercooler. Might post a pic if I get chance... cheers James
