Default 302mm discs on to a 850 R

Hi
just to let pepole know that i have fitted extended caliper brace of v70 -2000 part number 8602456 to my 850 R and used the same caliper and pads of my 850.
bought 302mm discs and away i went.
so if you want better brakes without tomuch cost this is the way to go.
braces at volvo are about £80.00 each i got mine from a breakers.

Just curious - do you notice any real improvement that couldn't simply be attributable to new discs and pads? Logically speaking the 302s should improve braking torque by only about 8%. Is that enough to be noticeable?
