Default 2000 v70r stronger rods???

hi can anyone tell me if its true that on the 2.4 v70r (265bhp model)
that they have stronger internals?
its just i keep coming upon threads on various websites where people are sugesting this however i have not seen any form of proof or any details as to how much stronger they are!

i hope one of you knowledgeable people can answer this as ive spent hours searching and its starting to craze me lol.

Problem is nobody knows exactly how much stronger they are if at all, so it would be a case of turn it up till it breaks just to find out how strong they are. If you are going to do a performance build you might aswell just get the h beams and then you know what your limits are.

thats true but i was just curious as there are lots of claims but no real proof. where do the claims come from?

The later T5's do have stronger rods. I believe it was 1998 that they changed.
