£500 TO SPEND !!! WHAT TO DO ????

HI ALL IN VOLVO LAND,
I'M A 96 854 MANUAL T5 AND MY OWNER (DARREN) HAS HAD ME FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS NOW.HE HAS EQUIPPED ME WITH A 'R' TYPE FRONT BUMPER AND REAR SPOILER AND HAS FITTED ME WITH A VOLVO STRUT BRACE.HE HAS CARRIED OUT FURTHER MINOR MODS (i.e moved horns,removed maf screen and shortend wastegate actuator by 3 turns) AND HAS COME UP WITH ABOUT £500 POUNDS HE WANTS TO SPEND ON MAKING ME PERFORM !!! IF YOU COULD ADVISE HIM ON WHAT TO SPEND HIS MONEY ON HE WOULD BE MOST GREATFULL.
P.S. HE DOES LIKE TO THROW ME ABOUT A BIT AND WONDERS IF 17" R-TYPE ALLOYS COULD BE THE ANSWER ?

Chip or Racelogic TC if you think it's quick enough...

You would certainly not want to fit a bleed valve or for that matter even an ECU upgrade as you have shortened the wastegate actuator rod to give a higher boost pressure.

I can offer you a full stainless exhaust system from the cat back (plus 5bhp) at £380 plus VAT.... then maybe a replacement panel filter at £33 or cone filter kit £85 : both plus VAT. If you want to spend over £500 then add a lowered & uprated spring kit £154 plus VAT. These springs will improve your roadholding & ride cheaper than the cost of 17" rims plus new tyres.
