This is another example of how Volvo has used plastic to replace metal part and created unreliability. my 95 car had a faulty wiper when I got it (broken gears inside), now replaced with ebay breakers parts. My metal geared 360 wiper moters all still work fine.

Plastic clutch pedal..worn+running out of travel arghh!!, Accelerator pedal is 'sticky' and does not operate smoothly over small movements.

You should be able to get second hand,.. I might break a 940 soon.
