  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

hi

im new just got hold of a 440 turbo and am loving it at the min, was just wondering tho what is the potentional of these engines as in tuning wise?? will post some pics up of my car at the weekend when i have cleaned it aswell lol

You can safely and easily go to 170hp with a richmod from the ecu. Done by some guy at the 480europe forum. Take a look at this thread:

And this link, a remapped ecu (richmod) will cost you 110 quid:

Search the 480-europe forum, lots and lots of info regarding tuning these engines.

Is it manual or auto?

I have it in my mind that manuals are fine for tuning but the transmissions on autos is less robust so can't take much in the way of tuning.

You would go from 120 to 170hp. 0-60 around 7sec.
