  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

i am a mobile mechanic and i bought mine cheap for the purpose of being abused, mne has done 191,000 miles and i kil it everywhere and apart from a service when i bought it annd a new radiator it has never missed a beat and i do abuse it, so to summ it up from what i have read and my limeted experience the 2.0 is fine in manual form but if you need auto 2.5 is the way forward as the 2.0 auto couldnt pull the skin of a rice pudding

Having owned a few v70,s i wouldnt entertain a 2.0, gutless wonders, the 2.5 are a lot better, however id say to anyone thinking of buying if insurance is not a big issue get a turbo model, the difference is incredible, there a far nicer car, the vast reserves of power make such a difference and general running costs are not much higher
