Hi guys,
I've got a brand new S60 2.0t S. I was wondering if the electric mirrors can be folded in, eother manually oe electrically. Cheers guys, michael |

Just push them and they fold back on their hinges. They do not fold electrically.

Michael,
Unless you specified the electric folding mirrors when you bought the car, you'll only be able to fold them manually. I've got them on my 2.0T SE and wouldn't be without them! Graeme |

Due to the CANbus two wire electrical control system retro fitting anything electric to the S60 is a nightmare and will most probably include a software change so it is not recommended. Comparing the standard and powered electrical diagrams shows most of the necessary gear is in place and all the wiring but you seem to loose the heated mirror relay and switch which is a little odd.
As the other guys say use your hands, it works for me. Frankly the only time I would need to use it is after the car wash machine has pushed them in. Regards Nigel (D5S) |

Electric mirrors are available as an accessory from Volvo. The cost approximately £190. Unfortunatley my dealer tells me that sometimes an additional wiring loom is required, however it is not possible to tell until installation is started, but if required it will cost an additional £90.
