V40 - What size alloys?
Hi,
Forgot to ask on previous post, if I manage to get my V40 I'd like to put my own alloys on. Does anyone know what the largest size/fitments are for the V40? Has anyone fitted non-standard alloys to their V40? If so, would you say 16" are big enough, or 17"? I'm rather looking for the car to be a bit special/different, not stupid. Any offers? RE: V40 - What size alloys?
Depends what phase model it is i had some 17's on my old phase 1 s40 and lowered 40mm on eibach springs with volvo's handling pack and even with 4 in and boot full it didn't scrape. They were 17in miglia HT3's with 205/40/17 tyres on although i would recommend putting 205/45/17's on as they are kinder to wheels ie, potholes.
When i got my phase 2 s40 i put them on that with a 35mm drop all round and they just didn't look right they didn't fill archs like on other car, so i sold them and are saving for some 18's |
