Good amount of interest guys...

But does anyone know what to do about it ?

How do you get in, what bulbs etc ?

I have a bulb out on on my radio.

I was talking to the parts man at the dealership today and was told they have to be sent away to be fixed.

Not the type of news you want to hear.

I have'nt stripped one of these radios but have took several others apart (and put em back together and working again)
I found that the most popular bulb replacement is the same as some Christmas tree lights.
If the voltage is'nt on them you need a bulb from a set that 20 bulbs in a loop with no transformer.
If it's a LED then a standard led will probably have to be soldered in.
I have also repaired video's by replacing the bulb in the 'tape inserted' sensor with one.
