Tool for Re setting Service Light on 1998 V40

Hi,
Can any one help please. I have a 1998 S plate V40 and I've tried the various methods of holding down the Odeo reset whilst turning the ignition key in positiion 1, 2 & start up to re set the service reminder and none of these seem to work.

Does anyone know where I can either hire or purchase the tool for re setting the service reminder please.

www.eurocarparts.com does them part number 400660031 for £55.00 plus vat.

if you are a club member i'm sure the club has one for hire bur cannot find the link but the info should be in the Driver magazine.

why not remove the bulb and just keep a record like the good old days?
