Thanks for the reply. I might join again but it's a lot to pay for one show, depends if I can get to any others during the year.
How about an entrance fee for non members so they can show their cars but not be judged ? ;-)

Are Alan Gibson Volvo taking part in the show at all ? They are the nearest dealers and have been very helpful getting bits for me.

Hi
I didn't know if my comment about paying to get into the show area is possible. It was sort of serious. I wonder if there could be an insurance problem if non members could come in with cars.

I ordered some parts from Alan Gibson and mentioned the show and they (the parts department ) didn't know about it. Don't know if there would be any chance of some discounted parts if they were there. Probably too late to arrange now though.

Is there someone I could speak to about this, cheers.

I think there's support for welcoming non-members into a 'show' area (but without the judging aspect).

Have a chat with Nigel (post 14)

cheers

James

Cheers.
It wouldn't be fair to paid up members if I could just get in for nothing, Might end up joining again if I can get along to a few events etc.

I have lived near Basingstoke for years and only visited the museum a couple of weeks ago. I think the highlights were the vehicles in there and the collections area where they have old food mixers, vacuum cleaners etc on display. There is a period styled pub that opens and serves, but you have to get there for the right opening times, sadly I missed out and had to make do with the sweets in the sweet shop !
