How the hell do i change the side bulbs
I have just noticed that the side bulb on my front offside has blown on my V40, I can see no conceiveable way (short of removing the bumper) to actually gain acces to the bulb.
Is there an easy way of changing it or do i have to take it to a dealer? Please Help Hywel |

From what I have read in earlier posts, if you have a PI car then you are pretty much correct, you have to undo all sorts of bolts. I think if mine go whilst I own the car they will probably stay gone...

the front side markers just require the indicator to be removed, you can then reach in and unclip it. hope that helps scott |

well from the looks of the piccy, there is a dog leg type plastic bit at the fromt of the light, squeeze that together and you should be able to push the front of it out. cheers scott |

RE: How the hell do i change the side bulbs
On enquiring about the same problem with my dealer I was told that the umper insert actually clips out to allow access to the side lights on the bumpers, I never actually tried it because the light is now working fine.
Let me know how you get on. |
