OMP Strutbrace
I have trouble fitting the OMP front strutbrace on my S40 2.0 . the long black plastic piece fitted over the electricalconnecting on the backwall in enginecompartment is in the way for the brace. Does anybody have a solution on that or do i need to go out and buy a volvo or a TME brace to fit it?

RE: OMP Strutbrace
Personally I always go for OEM kit (if available) for this kind of thing.
The Volvo Brace is a quality item and is a guaranteed fit. It might cost a bit more than a 3rd party one but as Scott will tell you they are the business. I would call your supplier and see what they have to say, but if it doesn't fit without removing pieces from the engine bay that aren't documented, or an alternative given, then I would say it isn't fit for the purpose you bought it for and you would be entitled to a refund. Later, Dan. |

RE: OMP Strutbrace
hi i would definately go for the volvo item. mine was fitted in 10 mins perfectly and you get spacers with it to move the fuse box down to clear it. also , it is fixed not centrally adjustable .

RE: OMP Strutbrace
How about SAM:s, SCT:s and TME:s, does they come with spacers for fusebox as well. Paid only 65€ for the OMP on sale. Volvos is about 190€, the 3rd party listed goes for 160-210€. Since the listed has the same design as volvos the brand does not matter so mutch or?
