  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SWITCH OFF THE SERVICE LIGHT WITHOUT TAKING TO A DEALER?

on 2000 and later models you can do the following

answer 1: 1. Turn the key to the 1st position.
2. Hold the trip button down.
3. Then turn the key to the 2nd position.
4. Light will begin to flash and about the 3rd time, release the trip button.
5. Start the car to make sure the light is off.

but before that its a trip to the garage

one funny thing, see Ray T's posting in the genaral messages about the volvo lane,

do you know where i can get a service resetting tool? i have only seen bmw ones on ebay, never a volvo one.

Paul, I think we have one in the the Club's tools for hire. The request form is on the reverse of the registration form. If you don't have one handy give John Smith an e-mail and he will send you one. The Tool Hire chappy is John Hunt who lives in East Sussex. It might be worth giving him a ring first to see if it is available. His number is in the Driver.

evenin all

dont know if any of you are still looking for one of these but if you go to www.draper.co.uk and then shop-online and then search for volvo you will find one, for £209.95.

this, believe it or not was in a flyer that the local off licence dropped in with my beer !!!

The tool is available from Ero parts cost £50.00 and covers all Volvo models
