S60 sat nav & active bi-xenon problem
Hi,
My '08 S60 has some sort of weird RTI issue, when I use the guidance it tends to shut down and reboot itself without hiding the screen. There's no error code recorded by the system and once it's restored all information (destination, position etc) is being kept like nothing ever happened. Do you have any idea what the reason might be? My dealer is trying to sort it out but after 2 weeks of service they still have no clue about the root cause. I've also noticed that the autoleveling system readjusts (1 sec dip and back to normal) lights on the random basis. It's something I have never seen on any other car with xenons, any idea whether it's normal or yet another volvo issue I should go to my dealer with? Cheers |

If you do work out what the problem is, I'd be very grateful if you could post it on here. Thanks. |

Have you tried changing the discs, either to a different copy or the previous version? Did the update change RIT main unit software version as well?

The problem is with the discs. It's not officially confirmed but there was an issue with the structure of data which has been resolved with the latest version. I got it last week and have not seen any reset or weird behaviour since.
