I think the owner is richard hollingworth, and i notice he has volve 245 turbo alloys on the car (virgos?)...do these fit onto the standard amazon hub?
Any info much appreciated

I think he fitted 240 front struts. I will dig out his email address and ask him.

Thanks Bob that would be much appreciated!
If new hubs are required, do u have any other suggestions for new wheels for the amazon (i know this seems to be a common thread), as i am not looking forward to driving over the winter on the standard narrow high walled tyres again. My email should be submitted but here it is again

This from Bob Hollingworth:

Front axle - the work involved re-machining the 130 axle stubs, sweating on new collars, matching up with new bearings, making new caliper plates from high tensile steel. This enabled 240 discs and hubs, and calipers to be fitted at the front. The rear involved swopping the 130 axle for a 140, axle - transferring the brackets from the 130 axle to the 140 axle etc. etc etc.
