Default Passenger shelf

When I bought the car the passenger shelf was in the boot, the back panel was till attached but only with two screws straight through to the battery (almost screwed into the battery!) compartment.

There are no brackets under the dash on the passenger side either, some brackets are mentioned in my haynes but it doesn't go into detail.

Anyone know how it all goes together? Any pictures would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have a photo in front of me at the moment... But there is a small black plastic clip that mounts to the cardboard kick panel in the car to support the edge. I have a few of those clips about if you need one. I will try to get a photo in the next day or two...

Thanks Chris. I've been under the dash today and can see where the plastic clip would have gone. All the screw holes seem to be in the right place.

I was concerned to notice that my coil is loose, no fittings at all! all it would take is a passengers knee and the ht able will fall off.
