Not necessarily! There seems to be no consistency in the use of the 302s on C70s (my C70 T5 came with 280s). So well worth checking if you have the larger brakes. If not, a quick search of the forum will reveal all the options!

My comment is based on the fact I know this car is a 2003 model, by which time the 280mm discs should of been long done with.

Should have been, perhaps, but weren't. My 2003 C70 T5 came with 280s and in fact for MY 2004 only 280s were listed for all models, including T5s.

Good advice from Nunchuckhamster. It is vital to ensure that your brakes and suspension are up to it before you start increasing power.

I thought absolutely all x70 T5s had 302s. I should have known better than to think Volvo would be that consistant

cheers

James

It was even worse than that - they listed 302s for the 2003 C70 T5 but didn't actually fit them to the cars claiming that it had been a 'misprint' in the brochure! Yeah, right!
