I can add to the store of knowledge........These stickers started to be used by couriers and their ilk in order to avoid being stopped. Since then career/lifestyle criminals have started to use them on their (very nice) cars for the same reason.

Police officers are being actively encouraged to stop people displaying the stickers and question them in order to build up intelligence profiles on the driver.

I know a couple of people who have removed them for this very reason.

Good luck.....

I've got black moose on a yellow background stickers on both front wings of my car and on the boot.

Does this mean anything?

My post has already been posted! The story went round years ago and the police then got wind and therefore started pulling the cars over for intelligence. The reason, if a cop was driving he'd most likely be doing nothing wrong and wouldn't mind, if it was displaying a sticker its more than likely gonna be somebody trying to get away with something at some point. Don't drive and act like a t*t and 9 times out of 10 the boys in blue wont treat you like one. Be polite, if the cop is an ar*e, COMPLAIN!!! I do!!!
