Default Central locking works, door doesn't lock!

Hi all,

My 1998 V70 passenget door doesn't lock, the switch goes up and down with the central locking, but you can always open it from the outside.

I took the trip off to nose around, and I can see that there may be a missing linkage between the central locking motor (which hooks onto the door lock switch) and the actual door lock mechanism.

So, can anyone tell me how the central locking actuator attaches to the door lock itself? Also, it seems to be really fiddly to actually remove the lock and actuator from the door itself, any tips?

Thanks!
Tim

Hi It is a small White clip, These can easily break hence the door will not lock/unlock,

I have a spare motor and lock switch here if you want to pm me,

Gary

Hmmm, I'm living in the US now, so I wouldn't expect you to send it!

There's a white clip that connects the door switch to the rotating central locking actuator. Is there another white clip that connects the two to the door latch? Because I don't see that one!
