Question Air Conditioning Removal

Hi All,

Does anyone have a tutorial on removing the air conditioning system.

I don't really know much about them, but I want to rip out the aircon radiator so the front mount can get more cool air.

Any help would be fantastic.

Cheers.

You need it have the refrigerant vacuumed from the system before you do anything.

It apparently has 'non-dangerous' r134a, is it pretty easy to do?

1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane, also called simply tetrafluoroethane, R-134a, Genetron 134a, Suva 134a or HFC-134a, is a haloalkane refrigerant with thermodynamic properties similar to R-12 (dichlorodifluoromethane), but without its ozone depletion potential. It has the formula CH2FCF3, and a boiling point of −26.3 °C (−15.34 °F).

It still should be vented to the atmosphere as there is dyes in it and you don't want it on your skin. When I broke my 960 it only cost me £10 to get our local place to vacuum it down.
