440 Carb Problem
Can any one help please! I have a lovely 440 but the gasket between the carb and the manifold is broken. I have tried every where to get the part with no success.
The car is a 1991 440 Petrol carb, there are three gaskets between the carb and the manifold and it is the one attached to the carb that is broken. Any one any ideas of where I could get one Please |

Has your dealer looked up the parts ? Try 3343830 which is a kit with gaskets in . If not available anymore he could look up the 1700 300 series carm gasket etc which is the same .
Good Luck .. Failing this try renault for gasket kit ... |

Slightly off-topic, but I need to know where the vacuum line from the bulkhead fitted accumulator goes onto the carb on my 1990 460. A previous owner removed it. I can see from the Haynes manual that it goes from the bulkhead near the vapour separator and disappears under the air filter, but I don't know how it connects up.
Can anybody help? - a photo would be great if possible cheers Peter |
