200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.

Hi,

Instead of a "sub forum" perhaps a GLT Register topic where people can register details of their GLT's.....

Maybe extend that to being a 240 register in time..?

This seems to work OK in the 850T5/R 'sub register' section.

Due to my lack of attention to detail the poll should have been entitled 'GLT sub register' as opposed to 'sub forum' - though my original post has the correct title................

Although I agree with most of the comments here, my view is that GLT differences go further than level of trim - there are differences re suspension and engine. It is also percieved as being different. Are the differences between an 850 and 850T5 more significant?(the T5 having its own sub register) - well perhaps, but shouldnt the same principal apply? Only my opinion of course and I'm hardly going to loose any sleep over it!

Having owned two 240 GLT`s to me they are the pick of the range, equipment, handling and styling.
