Right, i've now got a surplus to requirements 460 1.6

What should i do with it?

So far thoughts have varied from finding a 1.8 16v motor from an old clio and shoe-horning it in, fixing whats broke and attempting the Mongol rally, finding a friendly farmer with a spare field and 'enjoying it' or just selling it on ebay for spares or repair

your thoughts please the more interesting or unusual the better!!

Chop the roof off it, then you can treat your mates to open top Volvo motoring. What an experience that could be?

I seen a Triumph 2.5 PI that someone had done this to. Doors were welded shut and stiffeners added in strategic places, it looked pretty good now that I remember it.

Hi Jim

Think i saw that on Car Domain.....

Not my cup of tea. If only the 460 was RWD i'd be on for stuffing in a old Rover V8 and going with a Matt black rattle can paint finish

Winning idea at the moment is the Mongol rally - do something fun and worthwhile for charity.

I guess the 460 bends the rules abit but maybe a wild paint scheme or something would be cool, or indeed a open top!! Unfortunately i'm busy with work next year so will have to look at 2009, would be a hell of an adventure though. What do ya all think??
