I think we all will be delighted when a positive outcome is reached ASAP.

Sad old day
Ashok
JUst been to see Stuart to get some work done on my R and he is really disappointed that you seem to be choosing such a confrontational stance when you haven't even spoken to him on the subject regarding your engine. He has managed to find the block & web and is looking for the crankshaft. Perhaps you should call him if you have a problem with the engine which he built for you in 2005 as he's heard nothing direct from you. Whilst at SW I was shown two email from you to Stuart one dated 18/10/2007 asking for the engine and an email dated 19/11/07 giving him the engine number hae had resquested from you so he could find the right part. Doesn't sound like 4 months delay to me mate You obvioulsy have issues with SW which you need to resolve, do what I do talk to the man direct! |

John,
Unfortunately it appears you may have not read all of the posts prior... As has been said, Ashok has tried to talk to Stuart and he has never been avaialble to take the call. There was direct contact mentioned by ashok where Stuart said he was very busy preparing race engines and had little or no time to locate the required engine. Either way, this thread has been running for some time now and a resolution has still to be found! Even if the e-mails you 'saw'...which I dont think is legal btw as it contravines the Data Protection Act to show private conversations between a customer and service provider, where acurate in date and time etc, the first request wass still made in October...so even then it's still a month since the first request...still not exactly what you would call customer service. As a further note to this.... Stuart has made no attempt to resolve this issue via the forum, his spokesman Matt however has and has been unable to provide a simple straight forward answer despite being aked NUMEROUS times if the engine was even on the premises any more... can you honestly say hand on heart (assuming you have read everything prior) that Ashok's treatment has been fair? |

I will say it again! Im not stuarts spokesman. enigma666, Im sure you must be able to see that not all the facts presented in this thread. Now, for those of you who thought the engine had been, put in another car, sold etc etc - you all look rather foolish now dont you think?

But as usual, some people wanted to make up theories to suit their own motives. I can hardly see how not answering makes me responsible for others own made up versions of events.

Might I suggest that we call Matt aka bobcat a commerical poster for stuart, as he has stated he is. He has not said he speaks for stuart and is unable to answer my question "Are you posting as an SW rep with Stuarts Full authorisation"
So I would have to make an educated guess (since bobcat can't give straight answers anymore) That Stuart is aware of the posts made by bobcat and since he has not been here to defend/correct things he is fully aware of the situation. Might I also suggest that we ingnore any further posts by Bobcat as he can't seem to decide what he wants to be, non-commerical/comerical/spokes person. Since all he seems to have done is make matters worse and muddy the waters as the saying goes. Last time i'm posting in this thread. Good luck in getting all your Bits back Ashok. Hope to see soon. Laters all

As for the implications that the engine may have been parted out or simply fitted to another vehicle, unfortunately it was your own neglegance that may have led to that thought-line... the constant ducking and weaving of straight forward questions will often lead to misconceptions being made. If somebody had your property and kept ducking the subject of returning it, would you not be suspicious as to the items whereabouts? At the end of the day, the engine is on the SW premisies (which is good), although be it in numerous parts. Hopefully now SW can package it all up and somebody can collect it and Timway can get back on the road and represent the x40 community again. |
