'91 940 Diesel auto - water in oil?
Hi Folks,
I'm still on my quest for a auto diesel volvo estate. There's one on ebay I'm sort of interested in. It's 1991 940 Diesel automatic, 165000 miles, reasonable condition. The only query I have is that the seller says he had to change the oil cooler, which failed causing all the coolant to enter the engine block. Ok, fair enough I can accept this reason. However, I'm bothered that we're looking at poss leaking head gasket. The seller also says that when he replaced the cooler, he also flushed out both systems and the amount of oil is reducing. Just looking for opinions. Thanks folks, all the best. Rich |

Personally Id walk away.
There's quite a few diesel 940's knocking about on Autotrader. Alternatively, you can get a much better petrol estate for your money than a diesel one. do you NEED a diesel?
