Actually I think you will find the Government DO approve of Kahn's actions even if they do not advertise it. The Transport Secretary has the power to stop ULEZ being implemented, but chose not to. I think you will find the same applies to 20mph limits.

Cressida Dick resigned and clearly stated the only reason she did so was she did not have the support of the mayor. And by sheer coincidence three days later Boris gets a lockdown fine from the met. That’s how much influence Westminster has….

And since she left things have got only worse, to the point over 100 met offices have relinquished their firearms status.

Boris may have introduced ULEZ, but the current mayor is "by the consent of the majority" (since single digits margin win is enough for this) expanding the borders of ULEZ, and that the vandals taking the cameras down are "frustrating the will of the people".

I was also recently arguing with another who was blaming immigration on Khan too.

The Blade Runners continue to disable the ULEZ cameras in London. Between April-November 2023, nearly 1000 of these scameras have been disabled.
Perhaps we could make it a national sport?
