Default LED Headlight conversion kits/bulbs

So and i am ready to get flamed for this...

The might battle bus now has another years MOT (albeit she weaps oil, and a bulb blew pre test)

However and speaking of bulbs, im looking at swapping the original halogen bulbs for some of those LED conversion bulbs you can get like this https://www.halfords.com/motoring/bu...?buyAsPair=yes has anyone done this or had and experience with these, im linking the Halfrauds one as id like to think they are slightly reliable

Car is a 2006 XC70, and yes i had to polish the headlights pre MOT

Cheers all in advance

MOT fail

plus, from that same link you added..

"At the moment, it’s completely road legal for you to replace an internal bulb with an LED bulb. However, there’s no legislation to cover retrofitting external facing light sources and therefore LED exterior bulbs in this instance are not road legal"

and
"Enjoy a whiter, cool-toned beam for your off-roading with these LED bulbs"

on a personal note I find it a bit rude when people put ultra bright lights in with no regard for other people getting blinded by them

I do understand wanting better lighting but that's just too much

you can get the headlights refurbed and clean up the internal reflectors, or go for the ultrabright halogen options

I find these ones pretty good and they seem to last a bit longer than the Osrams in my experience (ymmv) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...e?ie=UTF8&th=1
