Default V50 1.6D Improvised Injector Stud?

Started cleaning up the carbon in preparation for replacing the injector seals on my recently bought 2009 V50 1.6D.

Unless I’m very much mistaken, someone’s replaced a stud with a threaded length, a nut and a washer at the back of the injector number one on the left of the bank.

Now a bit concerned about trying to remove it at all.

If I’m right, and this isn’t OEM, Halfords last replaced the seals 2 years and 18k miles ago so I’m assuming it was them. From the amount of liquid and sludge around, they’re all leaking. Just within their 2 year warranty, but the website implies it’s not transferable if the car is sold. Otherwise I’d be all over them.

No codes and the car runs ok, although in addition to the leaks around the seals there’s the accompanying smell in the cabin.
I also noticed a fair bit of oil in the turbo pipe at the front of the engine - The one secured by a nut and a torx bolt. The plastic socket where the torx bolt slots in is broken so it’s only secured by the bolt on the other side.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Thats shocking, I would get a competent Motor vehicle engineer to repair the threads and fit the injector properly.. People dont use torque wrenches these days it seems ..
