Hiya

I was wondering if someone could help diagnose a subtle ticking noise I can hear under the bonnet.

I don't know much about cars and this is my first Volvo,
Noticed a very subtle noise when car is idling which goes away when clutch pressed but can't pick it up on camera. maybe it was like that before and normal but noticed it when driving in silence.

Lifted up the bonnet and can hear a loudish ticking noise, again not sure if normal or not can't hear it unless bonnet is popped up.

No warning lights, oil is fine, drives fine etc

There's a lot of moving parts in an engine. Its very hard to tell where the sound is coming from.

I wouldn't worry about it. It doesn't sound as if its anything serious.

Sounds like the Dual Mass Flywheel failing to me. Sorry 😞.
