H7 LED Headlight bulbs
Previously I've been very much against HID and LED upgrades to Halogen headlight as I've been dazzled by so many bluntly dangerous conversions and I know that in most cases they are an MOT fail.
However... the technology is clearly advancing and recently I've seen some that appear to work well, correct beam pattern, sensible colour temperature, etc. Has anyone done it on a crystal headlight from a C70 (maybe fitted to V70/S70) - I'm looking to prolong the life of the headlight through reduced heat, improved vision and almost a "stock" appearance - i.e. not modified?

Hi, on a few trials I have found that some LED's do give off significant heat, enough to start damaging the headlight chrome coating.
Best I have found are the projector lens with the cut off that is horizontal with the step. |
