Help please
Hi can anyone help please ..
I have a 2005 xc90 d5 euro 3 engine (no swirl flaps ) I have changed Maf sensor Map sensor All engine mounts Injector seals New glow plugs Air intake control valve Turbo boost pressure solenoid New fuel pump and fuel sender unit Fuel filter Oil filter And oil change I have issues with being under power no get up and go when idle grey smoke but black smoke when I put my foot down I'm at a lose with this Only done 127k Update ::: Just had her running still black smoke but when I unplugged maf sensor she sounded better and very little smoke if this helps anyone Thanks |

Smoke test the system for leaks, split coolers and split pipe work not un common.
Turbo veins have known to become seized / sticky also.

Maf sensor and pressure control just changed
This is what came up on AA diagnostic fault code/s:System : Engine control - 72Y / Diesel EDC 15C115000 - Refrigerant low-pressure switch. Error Message : Limit not attained. Smoke tested 3 times 1st leak intercooler ( so has been replaced ) 2nd test resonator pipe (been replaced with silicone hose) 3rd test no leaks found |

I would suggest go no further until you have plugged Vida in. Volvos are funny buggers with diagnosing without it. You may be no wiser but its possible it outlines the problem.
