  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

I would be very wary about none Volvo parts….there are some very cheap and nasty discs and pads out there….

I have done the front pads on this and my previous V90 myself, I appreciate that folks tend to shy away from DIY car maintenance nowadays but the front pads are very easy, wheel off, undo two Allen screws, pull caliper away and replace pads. To do both sides takes a very leisurely 45 minutes.

Exactly.

Takes an extra 10 minutes to do the disks - just two more bolts to undo to remove the carrier.

I got it down to an art on my last V60 because it would warp the disks very quickly - I suspect it had calipers that were sticking slightly when hot, but were always OK by the time I'd jacked it up.
