Hi all, I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction as to what i can do to get one last push from my 163 MK2 V70 D5.
Modifications so far are: Hybrid turbo, bigger Intercooler & 3” turboback sports cat exhaust system. The car supposedly had “230bhp” from a flash map. Went in for a custom dyno tune yesterday at a local company only to find it was making 205bhp and 316 ft.lbs. I came away with 216bhp and 357 ft lbs. As well as £600 lighter. Ouch. Don’t get me wrong it does feel a lot quicker and even spins up in 3rd (could just be the weather…) but I can’t help feel it could do more with some better injectors / pump. So if anyone has any advice I’m all ears / eyes! Thank you! |

Not a lot u can do to these, i have a c30 d5 with 62mm hybrid turbo, airtec intercooler, 3" turbo back exhaust, k&n filter and 4 bar map sensor, and pulled 256bhp, 527nm @22psi of boost. Theres next to no aftermarket support for the fuel side so within reason, this is pretty much as far as ya can go on the engine side

Don't forget to keep a spare £1,000.00 or so in reserve for a replacement clutch ?
