Replcement xc90
Just bought another xc90 se lux as mine has been written off. Although the same spec but 3 years younger the replacement has reverse sensors but no camera through sat nav. no front sensors are these easy add on's or not worth the hassle. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I've owned two XC90's, one with and one without front sensors. Personally, I find them useful and prefer to have them. YMMV.
If I recall correctly, these were available as a dealer-fitted option post delivery. So maybe technically feasible but whether you can actually source a kit from Volvo now is another matter. You'd very likely need a software upgrade too. The camera is an after market fit too and quite easy to do. However the same applies; probably no longer available from Volvo and a software upgrade is required as part of the fitting. I find the rear camera less useful than the front sensors. Partly due to the camera usually being covered in muck whenever I could use the assistance.

I have the rear camera and sensors, but no front sensors.
I had the camera (which I supplied - OEM Volvo) fitted along with some other work at the dealer so not sure of the price but there was defo a download required. I'd have liked the front sensors too but even better would have been a front camera. Cheers Dave |

From an aftermarket perspective (if that's what you want), you can get front parking sensors and a reversing camera added quite easily. I'm sure you'd find somewhere that would do it for you, like an auto electrician or somewhere that fits aftermarket car radios/infotainment units. Tell them what you want and they'll likely guide you in the right direction.
It probably wouldn't be cheap, but nothing is nowadays.

I've personally never retrofitted it but might be work pulling the front bumper off (easy) and looking for any wiring connectors. Might also be worth a look in the accessory fitting section of VIDA if you have it.
