The dealer told me at the point of purchase that there is no collision avoidance. Imagine my surprise when something pulled my steering wheel exactly when I needed full control of the vehicle!

It most definitely exists on my MY22 XC60 allthough it appears there may be 2 modus operandi depending on speed and distance.
It cuts in frequently when turning and maneuvering on my drive if I got too close to the surrounding hedges
Also it operated at about 20 mph when a van in front puĺled away from traffic lights and then pulled up abruptly on the far side of the junction prbably due to s pedestrian obscured from my vision
On this occasion the brakes also came hard on accompanied by an audio alarm and flashing red on the drivers display
Wht model/ year is yours?
