Default Advice please

Sorry for the long post
I have a 2013 d4 that has electrical problms, just before Xmas my speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge, gear indicator, screen and central buttons went off and had every possible warning light on which after a day rectified itself and the car was fine until,I was told battery problem which I replaced for the car to be fine for 4 days then again everything went off and my dash was lit up like a xmas tree with warning lights but this time the car won't start it also won't unlock,I'm at the point where I'm about to throw in the towel on it unless one of you guys could possibly point me in the direction of the fault.PLEASE HELP

Some models have a push fit joint in the screenwash feed pipe for the rear wash wipe. It is stupidly routed inside the car and passes above some electronic control modules in the front passenger footwell. Sometimes the joint leaks and water can enter the electronics causing gremlins galore. Pull the carpet back and have a look.

You can get lucky and the modules may be fine after cutting/re-jointing the pipe and drying everything out thoroughly but it all depends on how much damage the water has done.

No dampness in the footwells they are bone dry and regarding the rear screen wash I've checked and there is no leakage,I checked all my fuses yesterday (sunday) and all are OK,what I have noticed is when the key is inserted and the start button is pressed I can hear a clicking noise from the passenger footwell but still nothing on the dash even though the battery is showing 12.72v.

There were a few cars with a faulty CEM back then You should get it professionally diagnosed ..
Is the Alternator charging properly?

I had much the same symptoms in my 2013 S60 about 4 years ago. I can't remember exactly what it was but it took the garage a few days to find it.
I know they said it was a shorted wire either under the battery box or more likely from what I remember, under the panel underneath the wipers somewhere.
