Radio DAB
Anyone here help with this.
If its raining and cold the rear heater control will come on automatically, Then the radio plays up only on DAB, it goes on and off intermittently. If i turn off the rear heater switch then the radio works perfectly. If its dry and I put on the rear heater just to demist its also fine. Only in wet conditions it goes off. and working in the wet with heater switch on, on all other frequency. Just DAB it goes off Stumped!!! This happens on every Volvo I've owned, not just on DAB (which is pretty non existent where I live) it also happens on FM Radio.
I would also like to understand why, or if there is a fix

Its electrical interference is radiated as in radio waves or carried by the car's wiring. Third party dash cams are the worst for this, they spew out unwanted interference that can affect radio reception. Solutions: Volvo should have tackled this in design; maybe putting an RF suppressor (buy them on eBay) in the cable to the electrical window may help, but I'd level it alone as any tinkering may affect the canbus system.
