I have a different issue. Sometimes, when I have not used my car for 2-3 weeks it goes offline to conserve battery state I guess, which is normal, I assume. However, sometimes it goes offline after 1-2 days after last usage, which is weird. On Saturday I drove around 50 miles mostly city or main roads, but today the car went offline… The battery had not charged ip sufficiently or what might be the reason? It’s very annoying as I have to drive early in the morning tomorrow and I can’t schedule a pre-cond. now.

In the early AAOS versions, there was a high probability of the 12v support battery being drained down if the car was not used for a few weeks. (this is why my dealer and Volvo recommended a trickle charger). However, Volvo was never able to confirm exactly which electrical unit(s) on the 12v circuit may be responsible for the draining.
Below is just a theory: As Volvo could not confirm the draining culprit and resolve it, they have created a band-aid fix, by recoding the AAOS software to add in an ‘off-line’ mode to switch off as many non-critical 12v systems as possible, triggered after a certain amount of time or below a certain 12v battery voltage level. Maybe after 2-3 weeks, your car switched into ‘off-line’ mode based on time and then switched into ‘off-line’ mode 1-2 days after driving due to low 12v battery voltage level? Maybe the 48v circuit was unable to charge up the 12v battery enough after the 50-mile journey. I did hear about some issues with the starter/generator unit on the 48v circuit not charging properly or it could be an issue with the DC-DC converter not transferring enough energy through to the 12v battery? All in all, it's a very annoying situation for us who purchased these expensive cars.
