Default How to remove scuttle drain??

Hi all,

I've had a water leak under my carpets, C30 '09 1.6d, absolutely swimming in passenger footwell, front and back. I think this was due to the seals around the windscreen being shot, as I did a temp fix with black silicon and seems to have stopped the leak. Removed the seats and all the carpets etc. and Im almost dry ready to put back...

But I want to double check the drainage holes aren't blocked below the windscreen, I believe its called the scuttle drain? as I can see a build up of mud and leaves in there. I dont use the car often enough and so just sits there in all weather, slightly leaning towards the nearside, which is where the leak was.

I think I first remove the wipers, then not sure how to remove the plastic clips holding on the plastic cover at the bottom of the windscreen. Can anyone help please?

TIA
