Default Fault p0244 pending v70 d5 2004

Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice

I have recently purchased for £550 a 2004 v70 d5 se lux with 210k miles that has been cherished and only serviced at volvo up until 2021 🥹

It has a couple of niggly things wrong but one of those things is an abs fault, somtimes when you start the car the abs fault will be there somtimes it pops up half way down the road and the car goes into limp mode until i turn dtsc off then absolutely no issues and the car runs perfectly.

I plugged my obd in today and I have only one pending code - p0244 which refers to turbo wastegate solenoid. Now could this be coming up because of the abs fault and the car being in limp mode or could this be a separate fault? There are no problems with the turbo or with getting power after I've turned the dtsc off and it sounds lovely when it spools up!

I'm new to mechanics so forgive me if I'm being ignorant I'm trying to learn and do as much as I can myself!

Thanks in advance

Abs fault will most likely be a cracked reluctor ring or sensor needing replaced. A good diagnostics tool should tell you what the fault is

Turbo waste gate P0244 is the cause of going into limp mode and as far as I'm aware an ABS fault doesn't put the car into limp mode

check vac engine mounts for leakage as this is a common cause of turbo problems the po244 code is a generic code for turbo or actuator faults abs faults can activate limp mode try to get the codes read with vida as this will tell you exactly where the fault lies ps im fairly sure d5 dose not have a waste gate . it has a vv turbo
