Xc90 xenon conversion
I have changed my xc90 normal headlights to the Xenon Type. The light are working but tilted/looking downwards. The dashboard also has the warning message flashing intermittently. I heard it could be corrected with a resistor but do't know what type and where to get it from.
I need help from anyone with the knowledge of how to solve this problem. Thanks |

You will need auto height adjustment and washers (if you don't already have washers) to make them legal. Think the MOT now checks for this.

Headlamp leveling and cleaning systems that are also in full working order. A correctly seated bulb giving a distinct beam pattern. Incorrect bulb colour

xenon headlight conversion
all..
need a little help. i have recently bought a volv xc 90 with what issumed were standard xenon headlights with dipped blue bulbs... they also had these naff led lights retro fitted. all working fine but amulit bulb failure notice on the dash. i got alittle money knocked off for that.. i asked my mechanic to clear the muiltibulb failure message .he took the leds off the lighting circuit and then replaced the blue bulbs with a lower wattage white xenon ones. then the fun began. lights are now flashing intermittiently and evetually cut off only when the car is running or idling. there seems to be some conversion kit cut into the car lights that has its own power source direct from the battery. i know they are a xenon head light unit as it is all built in..but since chancging the bulb to a white 35watt as i think the blue ones were higher wattage the problems have started. before i meddled the car was fine and now im just lost really.. i want it working again with error message or not !. is it simply replacing the bulbs with a higher wattage or not? any help would be good |

Resurrect a thread
Hello all, I have just purchased a 2010 XC90 which has the standard headlights, they have condensation inside and I have been offered a really nice pair of xenon headlights which would also update the front end a little.
I have looked and can't find any guidance on how to avoid the warning light being on and the bes pointing down, has anyone else done the conversion and how did they solve it? Many thanks! |
