Just found this Hex Key...? Is it for adjusting the mixture on my k jetronic system...Maybe one of you tech guys can advise pleasehex key.jpg ,,regards Adrian

Yes you're correct , it's for adjusting the mixture . But be carefull , you only need to make very small movement to alter it a lot .

would you happen to know which way it works i.e. clock wise for richer mix etc..as mine is running rich so anticlockwise i presume...thanks in advance,,,Adrian,,,,!!

Its probably 15 years since I last adjusted one, but very small movements needed and a CO Meter of course. All MOT stations will have one.

I set up a carburettor years ago using a Gunsen kit. It seemed a bit vague but I guessed the result was probably a lot better than before just by checking the spark plugs after running for a bit. At the MOT it turned out to be spot on.
