Well rereading my previouse post I got nearly all of it wrong.I am tired as I was up at 6.00am and worked allday.
So This silver one sold for more than £511. I have pictures but cannot remember which order they sold in. At a guess the one with the sought after number plate went first so in order. AUW 1T=£1397,silver. THM 264S=£810,silver. FAW 777V=£511.Blue. I originally went for the blue one as it was the roughest,I resisted it last time.So lower price. Regards Brian. |

As far as I'm aware, my friend still has THM. I haven't seen it yet, but he described it as needing some TLC. It won't be his first limo (he has a 6-door 740, too), so I suspect he'll be keeping it!
cheers James

If I had a place to keep it, I'd buy AUW 1T in a heartbeat, I could probably raise a grand in the short term selling off some stuff, and I've got anther grand socked away for my car insurance in December. The rarity alone is worth it, and it looks eminently restorable.

It's a very nice basis for restoration. I would love to see that car in mint condition at a future Volvo meet.
However, as an exercise in limo design, I think Volvo messed up. I can't imagine tycoons, celebs or political leaders being impressed by the rear legroom with the middle seats in use! |

landaulette
apparently there was a 264 TE landaulette avaible/produced as well.
@john== indeed little room and privacy with the spare seats down, unless it was meant for the armed bodyguards |

Shame that I've missed the sale on last September. I would have seriously bought all three of them.
