Default Exhaust position

On my 19 plate XC60, when reversing I managed to knock the left side of the exhaust, this has caused the left side to go in and the right side to come out. I've had a look at it looks like the holding bracket (i think thats what they're called) can be pushed in, out or in a middle position. I've tried to get them both back to the middle position without success. Is it just a matter of force to get them back to the correct position? or is there a way to loosen them and reposition it?

Added some pictures here.

More likely it's twisted slightly where the main pipe branches into two. Likely easily bent back again by any garage with a lift and a hammer.

Those rubber hangers will find their position depending on stress. The bit that will give the stress is the input pipe. So it's probably bent further towards the front.
