Default Complete New working programmed key fob for £12

Evening gentlemen

So when I got my vehicle both my key fobs were wasted. The top latches on both keys to remove the shells were broken. The intervals of the shells were worn out.

I went and got myself a red key for £12.

Removed the shells
gently pryed open the top cover in which the battery goes in from.

snipped the 3 small tabs holding the PCB in the chassis itself.

Took out the pcb.

Did the above procedure on the red key.

Placed the pcb in the new key chassis,

3 dabs of super glue where the tabs were snipped.

Slim layer of super glue around the chassis.

Cover back on. Battery in. Key blade in, Shells back on.

You end up with Brand new key fob chassis and shells. If you don’t like the red you can always now buy new shells only and the remaining of your key is brand new. Much cheaper than getting a new key and then having it reprogrammed.
